Now operating as an independent entity, nPhyla leverages a blended funding model—including equity and public research grants—and is actively raising capital to support revenue-generating deployments and scale-up.

Our Story
The company began in mining—a sector dealing with lower-grade ore, increasing environmental expectations, and limits to conventional process efficiency. We started by building a dataset: soil and water samples from mine sites across North America.
That dataset became a discovery platform. Today, nPhyla provides site-level biodiversity assessments, microbial screening, and custom reporting tools that help companies act on biological signals, not just observe them.
Our goal is to bring DNA-based monitoring and microbial innovation into practical use. We work with operators, researchers, and regulators to develop solutions that are grounded in data and ready for deployment.
